Principal

Susan Frampton, Ed.D.

Milford School District is proud to announce Dr. Susan Frampton as the Principal of the historic Milford Middle School slated to reopen in August 2025. Dr. Frampton has most recently served as Principal at Morris Early Childhood Center and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from over 20 years in public education. 

Dr. Frampton is poised to lead the district through the reopening and transition to the new facility that has been called a cornerstone of the Milford community. We feel confident that Dr. Frampton will continue to honor the legacy of the Middle School building while nurturing generations of students and fostering a culture of academic excellence, inclusivity, and respect as we move forward. Over the next year, Dr. Frampton will be integral to the planning and transition of the new facility serving grades five and six. 

Assistant Principal

Thomas Peet, M.Ed.

The Milford School District is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Thomas Peet as the new Assistant Principal at Milford Central Academy. With over 20 years of experience in education and administration, including a background in special education, Mr. Peet brings an inclusive and supportive leadership style to his role.

Mr. Peet previously served as Director of Special Education and Dean of Middle School at Sussex Academy. Reflecting on his career journey, he shared, “I started substitute teaching after graduating and never looked back.” He holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in School Leadership from Wilmington University.

In his new role, Mr. Peet will serve as Assistant Principal at Milford Central Academy. Beginning in the fall of 2025, he will transition to serve as Assistant Principal at the new Milford Middle School building. “I am looking forward to the interactions with students and helping them and the staff reach their goals,” said Mr. Peet. “I’m especially excited about opening the new middle school and contributing to the next chapter of that historical building.”
